Class Trial

We know that selecting the right international school for your child is a difficult process. How can a family determine how comfortable, happy or successful a child will be simply by reading a website or meeting with a staff member?

Winstedt's free Class Trial process is designed to allow families to 'test drive' the school. This provides parents with more reassurance about the potential fit for the child.

There is no cost or obligation for the trial. It is simply a chance for your child to get a feel for our vibrant and inclusive community. As well as an opportunity for us to learn more about your child, and how we might best support their academic success.

Once the online application form has been submitted, and all the required documents uploaded, our Admissions Team will review the information to determine whether the child meets the School's basic Admissions Criteria. If yes, the child is then invited to spend one to three days at the School for a Class Trial.

The Class Trials can happen any time when classes are in session and are typically scheduled on a Tuesday through Thursday, as these are the most typical of class days. Please refer to our Academic Calendar here for reference.

In some situations when the family is not able to come to Singapore, the trial can be waived based on the application documents. In these situations, the student can be offered a 'Conditional Placement' which will be reviewed for changes at the end of the first enrolled term. This is determined on a case by case basis.

Our priority is each student's academic success and personal well-being. Our admissions process may be more involved than other international schools, but we feel it provides more meaningful insights into the overall fit for both the potential students and our community.
