We are currently seeking:

Special Education Teacher

Responsible for implementing:

  • Classroom ManagementBehaviour Documentation and Reporting
  • Lesson plans
  • Conduct informal team behaviour intervention meetings
  • Planning and implementation of social/emotional/behavioural Interventions
  • Curriculum and Instruction responsibilities such as planning, documentation and reporting of academic data/progress and applying interventions
  • Curriculum mapping, individually-design instruction, individualized lesson-planning and IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, manage grading, homework
  • Maintain student records and communicate frequently with parents and school staff as needed

Position Requirements:

  • A Special Education teaching certificate
  • Bachelor's degree minimum
  • Teaching experience with elementary and middle school students, minimum three years
  • Experience working with students with learning disabilities – minimum two years
  • Strong command of the English language

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics:

  • Must be able to teach all basic skills and interact with students, parents and faculty

Relief Senior Teachers

A relief Senior Teacher at The Winstedt School is responsible for direct teaching when the Senior Teacher cannot be at school. The relief Senior Teacher will implement programs and lessons prepared by the senior teacher. The candidate will prepare teaching materials prior to teaching sessions and work with a co-teacher to assume responsibility for the classroom. The candidate should be prepared to work with an international community.

Relief Co-Teachers on an on call, casual basis.

A relief Co-Teacher at The Winstedt School is responsible for teaching and assisting students, preparing teaching materials and collecting learning data when the co-teacher cannot be at school. The candidate will maintain and organize classroom materials, implement classroom programs as needed and be prepared to work with an international community.

Admissions Manager

You are responsible for:

Promoting The Winstedt School

  • Welcoming potential new families and joining students by maintaining open communication with families
  • Providing accurate information on The Winstedt School programmes, Contracts, fee structure and other relevant information
  • Assisting with the creation and execution of unique Admissions related and other school events
  • Representing Winstedt at relevant events in Singapore,
  • Developing strategic partnerships with special education providers, therapists, other schools, relocation agencies, Expat associations and any other organisation

  • Promptly and professionally respond to all queries received via The Winstedt School’s website, email and telephone.
  • Ensuring new families receive copies of all relevant communications.
  • Managing all aspects of the admissions and enrolment processes with a high level of customer service.
  • Coordinating communication and scheduling of school tours and parent meetings.
  • Organising and chairing weekly meetings
  • Ensuring accuracy of data and files
  • Building the Parent League in scale and scope to be a positive resource to both Parents and the school

Qualifications and Skills:

It is expected that the Admissions Manager will have:

  • A high level of organisational and administrative skills with a meticulous eye for detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal English
  • Strong and successful customer relations and customer care skills with the ability to respectfully handle difficult customers
  • Professional partnership development and selling skills including active listening, managing pipelines and market research
  • Computer literacy, especially to navigate the online portal for admissions and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Personal qualities such as an outgoing, confident, affable and positive personality, a pro-active person of integrity, drive, energy and stamina, capable of showing initiative including the ability to think ahead and work flexibly without constant direction to deliver his/her outputs
  • Detail oriented and a creative problem-solver who is capable of applying analytical skills to business matters
  • Possess good team working skills with colleagues at all levels and a ability to mix easily with persons of any culture or background
  • Given the nature of the school population, the Admissions Manager must be empathetic and patient that will allow for good telephone and personal manners, an efficient operator who is a team player and works well under pressure.

Diploma/Degree:

  • Minimum Degree in an industry that demands planning, strong organisational and relationship development skills and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Professional Experience:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in an administrative role involving a set of responsibilities for senior management
  • Digitally savvy with experience in educational databases and technology platforms

Content Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that result in enrolment and retention.
  • Collaborates across functions to deliver an effective digital content strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost
  • This role requires a brand publisher mindset: create the content our audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion
  • Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content development, distribution and measurement
  • Editorial calendar and organization workflows must be developed and managed
  • Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email/newsletter distribution.
  • Understand the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why.
  • Measurement and optimization of the program will be required on a regular and ongoing basis
  • Management of all creative resources including designers, writers, and other agency personnel

Requirements

  • BA/BS and 3-5 years of working experience
  • Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Experience with CMS platforms, Google analytics, and the top social channels
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in an evolving environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, inquiries and enrolment

Physical Education Teacher

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Role Title: Physical Education Teacher

Status: Part Time – 16.5 hours per week

Your key responsibilities:

Physical Education

  • Organize games and challenges that promote physical activity for all levels of students.
  • Assist in delivering a program of motor skills and physical development for children
  • Reinforce teamwork, discipline, perseverance and fair play
  • Promote proper exercise and eating habits
  • Must have ability to adjust curricula and teaching style to adapt to children with disabilities, different physical abilities and diverse learning needs and differences.
  • Strong speaking and listening skills.
  • Excellent communication and demonstration ability.
  • Observe all students and maintain discipline within the class.
  • Interact with parents, teachers and school staff.

Collect learning data

Assess each child’s needs through Physical Education

Perform any other duties as directed by the CEO, Head of Physical Education, Heads of Schools

Assist with coverage of Lunch/Recess/CCA’s

  • Liaise with other health professionals, senior teachers, co- teachers and administrative staff as required.
  • Maintain student confidentiality.
  • Ensure conduct is professional and ethical.

Qualifications and Skills

Diploma/Degree in Sports Science/Physical Education

NCAP certificates advantageous
